Tuesday Update

I just got a call from John. He said that I can report here that Amy got to hold baby Evan today for the first time since right after his birth. Evan's Oxygen levels were better today and his rapid breathing has slowed. However, nothing is still consistent. The x-rays showed that his lungs are still hazy, but the doctor is hopeful that Evan will turn the corner to recovery soon.

Thanks for all of your comments and prayers. I realize you all want to call, but the family's focus is 100% on Evan right now. Amy, John, Evan, Sarah, and Thomas are blessed with so many people who love them and want to support them. I know they appreciate everyone of you! We will continue to keep you updated with any current information here on the blog. Waiting is always the hardest part!

    how hard it has to be not to be able to cuddle your sweet baby boy - so glad you got to hold him - i'm sure he enjoyed it as much as Mommy! Thanks for the updates Rebecca!
